Infusion D’Iris by Prada is an oriental and woody fragrance for women.
Iris, mandarin, galbanum, orange and orange blossom make up the centre of the scent whilst the base is composed of incense with benzoin notes. The name comes from the traditional method of producing Iris extract for scents. Iris would have to be soaked for six months until the sweet and fresh notes could be used in fragrance concoctions.
This reverence of the past also influences the design of the fragrance, which takes us right back to the beginning of the modern perfume era. Perfumer Daniela Roche Andrier of Givaudan captures the retro glass bottle style with the Prada logo engraved on a silver plaque.
Infusion D’Iris was launched in 2007.
